Bohs make bright start to the season

WEXFORD BOHS made a positive start to the season, winning 4-1 in Ferns with goals from Jay Roche (2), Derek Murphy and Ciarán Walsh.
Willie Burrell and Paddy Miskella got the goals for Fastnet Rovers as they saw off Bunclody 2-1, with Marek Wynczyk on target for the losers.
A 25-yard strike from Seán Foley in the 80th minute was enough for Fethard to edge out Shelburne, while Shamrock Rovers also won 1-0, a Thomas Thorpe goal proving to be the winner against New Ross Celtic.
Cushinstown earned a 21 win away to Orrill with goals from James Whelan and Nicky Sinnott and Orrill replying through, an own goal.
Elsewhere, Rosslare Rangers beat Rosslare Strand 1-0.
