Last week saw Andrew 'Aces' Dwyer back on form, beating top 16 hopeful Eoin Cashin in the final. Eoin beat rival J.P. Wickham in the semi.

Top spot in the league is now decided. Despite David Bradley failing to get out of his group, he has enough points now and is the league winner.

Now all eyes turn to the exciting battle for that infamous 16th spot, a battle between eight players. It's the most exciting finish to the league in its three-year spell.

David Murphy and Peter Waters look safe enough on 13 points, but Niall Gaul, Jack Delaney and J.P. Wickham are locked in that final position on eleven points, with Eoin Cashin right behind them on ten points and Nicky White and Dick Stafford on nine points.

Liz Byrne, Eddie McDonald and Ted Foxe are all still in with a shout on eight points. A lot of positions may be decided on events entered if points are tied.

This is the last week of the club. The final is on Saturday, April 17, and playoffs for the women and positional play-offs will be on Wednesday, March 24, as Wednesday next is St. Patrick's Day. For any further information, contact David (087-9638519).
