Increase in numbers at cross-country

Wednesday March 10 2010
ADAMSTOWN WAS the venue for the county finals of the cross-country events recently. For many years now, the entries have been very disappointing indeed, but there was a marked increase in numbers attending this year.
Still, there are still a number of vacancies on the county panels to be filled. The County Board are in the process of selecting girls and boys to fill those positions, so that we may have full panels heading for the national finals in Athlone in May.
Wexford Community Games wishes to thank most sincerely Cáit Bradley who organised the event, to Seamus Bradley who marked the course, John Joe Doyle who was the starter, Marie Asple who helped with the paperwork, and all who assisted in any way.
