The Captains' Dinner was a resounding success commencing with a wine and cheese reception while the newly formed choir of around 20 members under the conductorship of Michael Dee added a festive atmosphere to the evening.

O'Neill retains pitch and putt title
DEFENDING TITLEHOLDER Martin O'Neill ducked below the 90 mark for 36 holes as he retained the Senior club champion title at St. Patrick's pitch and putt club in Enniscorthy. He needed to be at his best to shade the issue ahead of Conor Murphy, who was just one off the pace after putting up a good show.

The Christmas outing was held on Saturday last, and 47 members played on a day that was ideal for golf on a course that was in excellent condition for the time of year.

Out on the course, 15 teams battled it out in near gale-force conditions, but thankfully it remained dry. The format which dictated that all four players score on the par threes certainly separated teams in a big way.
