Clonard ladies are beaten

THE LADIES of the Clonard Badminton Club fifth division team justified the black belt in origami as they folded spectacularly in their final game in Piercestown against a well-prepared St. Martin's team.Lisa Tyghe and Anne Kent won their opening set against Fiona Hayes and Orla Scallan, but that only antagonised St. Martin's who promptly won the remaining eight sets.
