Success in restaurant awards

WEXFORD WAS well represented at this year's Food and Wine Magazine/Penfolds Restaurant of The Year Awards.
Dunbrody Country House Hotel in Arthurstown was highly commended for Penfolds Best Leinster Restaurant with Aldridge Lodge Duncannon being commended in this category, which excluded Dublin restaurants.
Aldridge Lodge's resident chef, Billy Whitty, was highly commended for the Penfold Best Leinster Chef which included Dublin
The two eateries were ranked among the top ten Leinster restaurants, while their chefs Billy Whitty and Kevin Dundon were announced as the top eight Leinster chefs at the awards which were held in the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin last Sunday.
