Gardaí seek help on four burglaries
INFORMATION IS being sought by Gardaí as they investigate four burglaries that occurred in the New Ross area between last Friday and Saturday.
An unoccupied house was entered in Ramstown, Fethard-on-sea, between 4 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. last Friday. A silver Opel car was seen outside the house around the time of the incident and Gardaí are anxious to speak to any witnesses.
In Lacken Valley in the Irishtown a house was ransacked on Friday between 7.30 p.m. and 8 p.m., however, nothing was taken. A second house in the estate was also targeted by thieves, who damaged the front door of the property but did not gain entry.
In nearby Ballinaboola another house was ransacked between 3 p.m. on Friday and 4 a.m. on Saturday and thieves made away with cash and alcohol. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have any information on these incidents. Contact New Ross Garda Station on 051 421204.
