BREAST CANCER services are to benefit from a donation of ¤1,700, which was presented in the Sportsmans Inn, Ramsgrange, recently.
The money was raised on New Year's Eve when the Sportsman's Inn Rugby Supporters Club held a disco in aid of Breast Cancer Research.
Patricia O'Brien presented the sizeable cheque to Willie Delaney, who will pass on ¤850 each to both Action Breast Cancer and the Breast Care Unit at Wexford General Hospital.
Also present at the handover were Pat Walsh, Dermot O'Brien and Esther and Seamus Brady, proprietors of the Sportsman's Inn.
The O'Brien family and friends have raised € 43,000 over the past three-and-a-half years for cancer research through the Kay Coady Memorial Fund.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way in making the evening such a success.
