Copper wire stolen
GARDAI ARE investigating a theft of copper wire from the Endesa Power Plant in Great Island.
The theft happened some time on Thursday or Friday, January 19 and 20, according to a Garda spokesman. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to please contact New Ross Garda Station on 051-421204.
