THE CONGRESS BELL
The Eucharistic Congress Bell will arrive in the Church of the Assumption Rosbercon this Thursday (19th January) at 9 am. Mass will be celebrated at 9.30am to celebrate the presence of the bell which has been travelling through the Diocese of Ossory since Sunday the 8th of January. Then at 12.30pm there will be a special celebration in Rosbercon at 12.30pm before the bell will be handed over to the Diocese of Ferns.
Both Bishop Seamus Freeman of Ossory and Bishop Denis Brennan of Ferns will be present for the handing over ceremony and all are welcome to come along and pray with them for the success of the forthcoming International Eucharistic Congress which will be held in Dublin from 10th to 17th June.
