PYJAMA PARTY IN AID OF THE IRISH CANCER SOCIETY
Wednesday March 10 2010
OVER ¤2,000 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society on Friday night as upwards of 100 people donned their pyjamas and slippers and headed for Dock's Hotel for a fun-filled pyjama party.
Pyjamas, nightdresses, slippers and night gowns were the attire of the night as revellers turned up in great numbers ready for bed for the fundraising night.
Organised by the fundraising committee in Tesco New Ross, the event raised ¤2,100.
'We were very pleased with the turnout and would like to thank all who turned up and supported the cause, as well as Docks Hotel for facilitating the party. It was good craic,' said Deirdre Walsh, one of the organisers.
