GLENMORE
PILGRIMAGE: The Legion of Mary pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday September 26. A bus for Knock will leave that morning at 6.30 a.m. sharp, the fare is €25 which covers the return bus trip only. Those interested in joining this one day pilgrimage should give their name with the far to May Cashin as soon as possible.
AUGUST DRAW
The August Silver Circle draw takes place on Tuesday August 31 in the club premises, full results next week.

There were fifteen baptisms in Slieverue Church recently.
ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Ferrybank and District Active Retirement Association had a meeting on Tuesday to arrange anyone with craft for Pilltown Show to bring along same. A mini bus was provided on Saturday August 28 for the Pilltown Show and they had lunch in Anthony's Inn in Pilltown.
