HURLERS LOSE

Our senior hurlers were in action against Glynn/Barntown on Saturday last in the Quarter final of the B Championship. As it has been for most of the current championship campaign, they were without a number of key players due to injury's and it was the Glynn men, who could consider themselves somewhat unfortunate not to be contesting the quarter finals of the A championship, who proved the best side on the day running out easy winners.

The lads are now in the relegation mix and with three going down this year they have it all to do. But sport being what it is who knows, and it will take two big performances to get them out of trouble. Good luck to them.

FUNDRAISER THANKS

The fundraising Cabaret which was held in O'Neill's of Cassagh on Saturday night last, in aid of Hospice Homecare was a huge success with the place packed to the rafters. The atmosphere was mighty and everyone enjoyed the craic and the entertainment.
