'Canaries' on song

Wednesday March 10 2010

CANARIES WILL be coming to New Ross from tonight (Wednesday) with a 'sunsational' bang.

No longer is there a need to drive to an airport, go through all the hassle of check in, endure delayed flights, eat plastic airline food and roast by a resort pool for two weeks just head to St. Michael's Theatre tonight (Wednesday), Friday or Saturday.

Thanks to New Ross Drama Workshop 'Canaries' will have all the romance, intrigue, sun and sin wrapped up in this Bernard Farrell comedy.

Guaranteed to be the subject of conversation around town and surrounding country for some time this steamy presentation will have audiences in stitches throughout.

An experienced cast of Tom Kent, Tom Doyle, Marianne Furlong, Margaret Dunne, Nancy Rochford-Flynn, Peter O'Connor, John Dwyer, John Caulfield and Paul Walsh are joined by newcomers Pamela Dwyer, Sinead O'Neill and Nadia Ghalaieny, who are going to cause a stir.

After seeing this production you may never wish to go on a package holiday again.

Tickets are on sale at the theatre box office, by calling 051 412155, or by going on line at stmichaelsnewross.com. All tickets are priced at ¤10.
