CARDS: The weekly "30" Card Game continues in the Community Centre on Friday 3rd September at 9pm. There is €220 in prize money on offer each night. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week. Catering on Friday 3rd September will be: Cathy O'Gorman, Bridget O'Gorman, Ann Stafford, Kay Whelan and Agnes Whelan, Kellystown. Proceeds go to Parish Funds.

CUSHINSTOWN
CAMOGIE/LADIES FOOTBALL: The junior B ladies played Rosslare on Wednesday night last and had a good win over them. The U14 football girls have a County semi-final coming up on Sept 9th so they are busy with training at the moment. Camogie training will resume on Wednesday August 25th for all U8 and U10 form 7 to 8 p.m. The junior B ladies next game is not until the fst week in September.

GAA CLUB FUNDRAISER: Cloughbawn GAA Club will hold their sponsored walk on September 4th at 2.30pm. This will be a fun day out for all the family commencing at the Complex, there will be a short walk for childre with a longer walk for adults.
TULLOGHER/ ROSBERCON
ALL IRELAND GOLD: Congratulations and well done to Tullogher/Rosbercon team members, John Cotterell, Pat Hartley and Richie Dollard who played on the successful Kilkenny Intermediate hurling team who won the All Ireland Final last Saturday evening in Thurles. The "Cats" won comfortably in the end on a score line of 2-17 to Cork's 1-13 and where the switch of Hartley to centre back had a major bearing on the outcome as he nullified the previous threat posed by the Rebel's number eleven Cooper.
GLENMORE
PILGRIMAGE: The Legion of Mary pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday September 26. A bus for Knock will leave that morning at 6.30 a.m. sharp, the fare is €25 which covers the return bus trip only. Those interested in joining this one day pilgrimage should give their name with the far to May Cashin as soon as possible.
