PLENTY OF laughter could be heard resounding throughout Campile Hall last week as the hilarious production of 'Goody Two Shoes' took to the stage.

Packed audiences enjoyed a fantastic night's entertainment when the show was staged last Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and tickets are still available to see the show when it hits the stage again from tomorrow ( Wednesday) to this Sunday, February 5 at 8 p.m. nightly.

Wonderfully produced by Donal Whelan, ' Goody Two Shoes' brings the audience on a magical, lighted hearted journey revolving around a pair of Golden Magical Shoes belonging to Goody (Andrea Lynch).

The show opens with the introduction to some of the characters including the hilarious Dame Molly Coddly (Pat Barron) and Ozzie (Donal Whelan) who instantly have the audience in stitches.

Goody has been given the pair of golden shoes from the Fairy (Lisa Franklin) but not before long the shoes are taken by Ozzie and given to the self-centered Estella (Stacey Flynn) - but what Estella doesn't know is that the shoes can only make wishes for others and never for yourself.

As Estella makes a wish for herself the shoes disappear to the cave of the lost treasure guarded by the Terrible Fierce Dragon (Mark 'Gooey' O'connor).

The Dragon scene is spectacular, from the props to the lighting arrangements, while the Fierce Dragon has the audience gasping for breath and totally engaged in audience participation. Goody, Dickon (Paula Kehoe), Dame and Ozzie then set off on their way to recover the shoes from the Dragon, however while they are there the shoes are stolen by the comedy

trio, Lock, Stock and Barrell (Ger Breen, Seamus Shannon and Richard Walsh).

Following a big co- motion Dame Molly Coddle gets her hands on the shoes and puts them back where they belong on Goody's feet so Goody can now continue to give good fortune to everyone by making magical wishes from her pair of Golden shoes. This is a show not to be missed, with audiences saying it's one of the best pantos they have seen from Campile Hall.

Tickets are still available however are limited. Call Ann on 087 2183300 to book your ticket.
